Cooking with UmmHashim series 3: Suqaar (Meat/Chicken)

This is one of my favorite stir fried type of dish. As i said before, it can be eaten with the Somali sabayat.

Here is what you need to do 

2 Cups of Suqaar Meat (beef cubes)
1 Cups of Water
1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin Powder
1/2 Tablespoon of Cilantro (crushed and use fresh or dry)
1 Clove of Garlic (crushed)
1 Potato (diced)
1 Carrot (diced)
1/2 Green Pepper (diced)
1/2 of a Small Onion (finely chopped)
1/2 of a Chili Pepper (finely chopped) (if you want it)
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
1/4 Cup of Oil

1. Heat the pot with 1/2 cup of water and the beef. cook it until brown,
2. In another clean pot. Heat the oil; add the onion and garlic and cook until translucent.
2. Add the beef and the other 1/2 cup of water and the potato and the carrot and simmer or until they are tender.
3. Add cumin, salt, and green peppers and keep stirring until the green pepper are to your texture desire. 
4. Add the cilantro and chili peppers (if you want it) cook for 1 minu
